Virginia M (Geiger) Soffera

Virginia M. “Ginny” Soffera, 73, of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  She was the wife of Dennis M. Soffera. Ginny and Dennis celebrated 52 years of marriage last September. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Daniel P. Sr. and Gloria V. (Schuster) Geiger.  Ginny was agraduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1967, and Allentown Business School.  She was employed at the former Phoenix Clothes in Allentown before devoting herself as a caregiver to her family.  Very artistic and talented, Ginny enjoyed crafts and designing silk flower arrangements.  She and Dennis also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States,and she particularly enjoyed Las Vegas and gambling at the casinos.  

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Dennis, she will be deeply missed by her daughter, Danielle Brearman and husband, Jody, of Bushkill Township; two grandchildren, Mariah Transue and husband, Michael, and Chase Brearman; a great-granddaughter, Maelani; two sisters, Sharon Siegfried and husband, Dennis, of Northampton, and Rochelle Fenstermaker and husband, Robert, of Bath; a brother, Daniel Geiger, Jr. and wife, Colleen, of Northampton; along with nieces and nephews.  

Services: Private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
