Richard Naylor Obituary

Richard C. Naylor, 91, of East Allen Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 03, 2023.  He was the husband of Elizabeth E. (Stull) Naylor to whom he was married for 60 years last March.  Born in Bethlehem, Richard was a son of the late Chester and Evelyn (Willimet) Naylor.  He was a 1949 graduate of Liberty High School and attended the University of Pennsylvania.  A proud and lifelong, third-generation dairy farmer, Richard and his brother successfully operated the family farm in Hanover Township for decades.  Besides farming, he worked for Insulators Local Union 23 as a pipefitter and insulator for 20 years until retiring in 1993.  Although farming was his passion, Richard was also involved in horse shows and competitions for many years.  One of his favorite places to spend time to relax and fish and hunt was at the farm in Wyoming County, which together he and his brother owned.  Richard also enjoyed gambling at the casino.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Elizabeth, he will be dearly missed by his daughters, Deborah Naylor Keshel and fiancé, Herculis Foskolos, of East Allen Township, and Susan Naylor Serino of Boynton Beach, Florida; grandsons, Mark John Keshel, Jr. and fiancée, Dr. Brittany Redmon, of Iowa, and David Richard Keshel and wife, Alyssa, of Ephrata, PA; granddogs, Jetty and Max; nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  Richard was predeceased by his siblings, Donald E. Naylor and Doris Vazquies.
