Gloria L. (Schoch) Cope

Gloria L. Cope, 85, formerly of Moore Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill.  Born in Meckesville, Carbon County, she one of 12 children of the late Clinton and Isabella (Keiper) Schoch.

Gloria was the beloved with of the late Llewellyn H. Cope, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2017. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1956.  Gloria was employed for many years as a sewing machine operator at the former Holtz & Co. in Bethlehem.  She later worked at the former Amore Farms & Greenhouses in Bath, before retiring.  Known for her green thumb, Gloria loved gardening.

Survivors: Gloria will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Thomas Cope of San Diego, California, and Robin Wolfe and husband, Jim, of Moore Township; two grandsons, Jamie Wolfe and wife, Jessie, or Northampton, and Jeff Wolfe of Moore Township; two great-grandchildren, Sage and Kirsten; three brothers, Raymond Schoch of Bethlehem, Gerald Schoch of Coopersburg, and Bruce Schoch and wife,Elizabeth, of Bushkill Township; a sister, Loretta Rudolph of Bethlehem; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Llewellyn, she was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.

Services: A graveside service will be held privately with the family at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
