Clarence Schaffer, III Obituary

Clarence F. “Frank” Schaffer, III, 61, of Salisbury Township, formerly of Danielsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  He was the husband of Carol A. (Weaver) Schaffer.  Frank and Carol would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 19.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clarence F. Jr. and Marguerite (Weiss) Schaffer.  A 1981 graduate of Northampton High School, Frank worked in the building industry for many years, which included owning a construction framing business in Bethlehem Township from 1998 to 2003.  Prior to his illness, he was last employed at Adam Meyer Moving & Storage in Bethlehem.  Throughout the years, Frank remained active and was a very competitive bowler participating in several leagues and tournaments.  He also enjoyed competitive horseshoe pitching.  Frank was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and a former member of Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church.  Cherished memories of camping trips, bonfires, and spending time with family and close friends is how Frank can fondly be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Carol, he will be deeply missed by his daughter, Carla Schaffer of Salisbury Township; grandson, Ethan; sisters, Christine Kleintop and husband, Larry, of Danielsville, and Charisse Keefer and husband, Douglas Bruder, of Moore Township; brothers-in-law, Robert Weaver of Allentown, Michael Weaver and wife, Tanya, and Mark Weaver and companion, Dolores, of Bethlehem; sister-in-law, Donna Shuman and husband, Ricky, of East Allen Township; along with nieces and nephews.
