Vernon S. Mann, Jr., 65, of Forks Township, formerly of Moore Township, passed, May 12, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township. He was the husband of Elaine D. (Parr) Mann to whom he was married 31 years last October 1st.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Vernon S. Sr. and Patricia A. (Lerch) Mann of Hanover Township. A proud graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1978, and Vo-Tech, Vern diligently worked as a truck driver at various trucking companies for more than 30 years. Before retiring, he found it very rewarding in working as a school bus driver for Delaware Valley Regional High School in Frenchtown, New Jersey.
Known for tinkering, Vern was both talented and mechanically inclined, which was a perfect combination for his passion of small engine repair. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed muscle cars.
In addition to his loving wife, Elaine, and his parents, Vernon Sr. and Patricia, he will be deeply missed by his brother, Todd Mann (Beverly Hendershot), of Moore Township; sister, Lori Kolesnik (Robert Wisniewski) of Lehigh Township; brothers-in-law, Gary Parr (Chick), of Oxford, New Jersey, and Roger Parr (Richshel), of Port Colden, New Jersey; nieces, Katie and Maci Parr; nephews, Shayne Kolesnik (Cameron), and Austin (Briana); aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loyal pet dog, Chandler.
As we gather to honor Vernon's life, may we remember him for the love he shared and the joy he brought to our lives. He will forever remain in our hearts.
