Stephen F. Werkheiser, 79, formerly of Upper Nazareth Township, quietly passed away on Tuesday, April 02, 2024, at Easton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Palmer Township.

Born in Wilson Borough, he was a son of the late Stephen C. and Hilda (Yeska) Werkheiser.  After graduating from Pen Argyl High School in 1962, Stephen was employed at the former Speck Plastics in Belfast where he worked for 20 years.  He later worked at Service Master for 30 years until retiring.  A sports enthusiast, Stephen was a huge NASCAR fan and he enjoyed listening to music.

Survivors: Stephen is survived by three sisters, Lorraine Lavey of Dale City, Virginia, Patricia Bartholomew and husband, Ernie, of Forks Township, Phyllis Bisher and husband, Wayne, of Bangor; a brother, Gary Werkheiser of Catasauqua; along with many loving nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by a nephew, Scott Lavey; and a great-nephew, Joseph Lavey.

Services: Stephen’s visitation, funeral service and interment will be private.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
