Sandra L.
Grigus
May 22, 1954 — Oct 7, 2026
Lower Nazareth Township
Sandra L. Grigus, 72, of Lower Nazareth Township, formerly of Forks Township, quietly passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township. She was the loving wife of Neil R. Grigus. The couple would have celebrated 45 years of marriage on November 27th.
Born in Binghamton, New York, Sandy was a daughter of the late Edward A. Sr. and Shirley M. (Zona) Talcott. She was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1972.
Sandy had a natural gift for making others feel welcome. For 13 years, she was employed at the Brown & Lynch American Legion in Palmer Township, where she served as a bartender and later as manager. With her warm smile, outgoing personality, and genuine interest in others, Sandy formed many lasting friendships and treated patrons more like family than customers. Previously, she worked as a bartender at the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company Social Club.
Sandy was a member of Safety First Fire Company Social Club in West Easton, as well as a life member of both East Lawn Volunteer Fire Company Social Club and Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company Social Club. In her leisure time, she enjoyed camping, playing keno, and trying her luck at the casinos. A social butterfly at heart, Sandy found her greatest enjoyment in the company of others, sharing laughter, good conversation, and memorable times with family and friends. Her warm personality and genuine love for people made her a cherished friend to many.
In addition to her loving husband, Neil, she will be dearly missed by her sons, Ronny Albert and wife, Jami, of Lower Nazareth Township, and Shawn Grigus of Brigantine, New Jersey; daughter Shannon Grigus and Bill Lindsay, of Roseto; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene Oswald and husband, Louis, of Saylorsburg; brothers, Edward Talcott, Jr. of
Tunkhannock, and Gary Talcott of Scranton; along with nieces and nephews.
Sandy was predeceased by a daughter, Sonya M. Brown, in 2012.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., in the Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: www.bensingfuneralhome.net.
