Above all, Ron will be remembered for his devotion to family, his generous spirit, and the many memories he created with those he loved.

Ronald A. Gercie, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the age of 80. He was the devoted husband of the late Elaine M. (Heller) Gercie. Prior to her passing in January, they shared 59 cherished years together. They built a life centered around family and filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Born on May 27, 1946, in Easton, PA, Ron was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Morone) Gercie. He graduated from Easton High School Class of 1964.

Ron proudly served four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant. His commitment to his country was reflected in his subsequent involvement with the American Legion, where he served in various capacities, including on the Board of Directors of the Brown & Lynch Post 9 and as a member of their Honor Guard. Ron was particularly proud to have participated in well over 200 Military Honor Ceremonies, representing the spirit and pride of those who served.

After his military service, Ron spent over 40 years with the former Mack Printing Company, in Wilson Borough. His strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of pride were always evident. Upon retiring, Ron and his beloved wife, Elaine, enjoyed splitting their time between Nazareth with family and the sunny shores of Cortez, Florida, creating their own version of endless summer.

Ron was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with friends and especially his grandchildren. He was also a classic car enthusiast, attending numerous car shows and taking pride in owning and restoring antique and classic vehicles, like his '57 Chevy. This passion led him to serve as president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Antique Auto Club of America.

Above all, Ron will be remembered for his devotion to family, his generous spirit, and the many memories he created with those he loved.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Denise M. Nolder of Nazareth, Stefanie L. Toman of Coplay; grandchildren, Joshua R. Nolder, Matthew R. Nolder, Nicholas A. Nolder, Macade A. Toman, Ava L. Toman; as well as extended family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive, Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will take place privately at a later date at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Williams Twsp.
