Each painting reflected his patience, imagination, and appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life.

Robert G. Oncheck, 71, of Walnutport, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at his residence. He was the husband of Jacqueline Ann Oncheck (Kline). Born in Danielsville, Robert was a son of the late Gizza and Margaret Oncheck (Yandrisovitz).

A man of remarkable creativity and artistic talent, he had a true passion for painting, particularly working with acrylics. With a paintbrush in hand, he had a wonderful ability to transform a blank canvas into a beautiful work of art, bringing his imagination to life through color, detail, and expression. Painting was much more than a pastime; it was a meaningful outlet for his creativity and a way to share his artistic gifts with those around him. Each painting reflected his patience, imagination, and appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life. In his younger years, he also enjoyed spending time on the golf course. Above all, he treasured the companionship of his beloved dog, Teddy, who held a special place in his heart.

Throughout his working career, he was employed as a crane operator at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

In addition to his wife, Robert will be missed by a daughter: Heather; stepchildren: Jennifer Sell of Coopersburg and Bryan Sell of Middletown, PA; siblings: Richard Oncheck of Fort Wayne, IN and Gloria Puig of Pasadena, TX Robert is predeceased by a sister: Rosemarie Fritzinger.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at:
