Randy L. Frey, 68, formerly a lifelong resident of Moore Township, passed away peacefully at Gracedale Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township on Saturday, August 8, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Tara M. (Byrnes) Frey with whom he shared 37 years of marriage before her passing in 2017.

Born in Northampton, Randy was a son of the late Leonard L. Sr. and Catherine L. "Betts" (Druckenmiller) Frey. He was a proud graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1975. For more than 50 years, Randy was an extremely reliable and dedicated tire technician at Service Tire Truck Center in Bethlehem, where he worked in the recap department until his early retirement.

When he wasn't devoted to his work, Randy found peace and enjoyment in the quiet solitude of the outdoors, where hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes. A huge NASCAR fan, particularly of Bill Elliott, Randy also remained a loyal fan of the Miami Dolphins. He was a life member of Petersville Rod & Gun Club and a member of St. Bernard's Social Club in Bethlehem. Randy was also a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Kimberly L. Frey and wife, Ashley, of Catasauqua; a grandson, Aaron; a brother, Raymond L. Frey of Whitehall; a sister, Linda Frey of Whitehall; a sister-in-law, Sandra Frey of Moore Township; along with nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Tara, he was predeceased by a brother, Leonard L. Frey, Jr., in 2021.
