Pauline G.
Heckman
December 12, 1945 – June 3, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Pauline G. Heckman. Pauline peacefully passed away at her home in Moore Township on Wednesday, June 03, 2026, while in the loving care of her family and hospice. She was 80. Pauline was the wife of the late Leon G. Heckman, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2009.
Born in Wilson Borough, she was the daughter of the late Sterling C. Heckman and Mildred H. (Miltenberger) Hill. A 1963 graduate of Northampton High School, Pauline worked in the garment industry as a sleeve setter at the former Pioneer Sportswear in Stockertown for 24 years. Her exceptionally strong work ethic afforded her an opportunity to join C. F. Martin Guitar where she was employed for more than 22 years, before retiring in 2011.
Outside of work, Pauline was the consummate homemaker and satisfyingly found great pleasure in maintaining her home both inside and out. She especially enjoyed gardening and fastidiously tended her flower beds. She also enjoyed sewing in her spare time. Always placing her family first, Pauline never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren, whom she so dearly loved.
She was a faithful and lifelong member of Covenant United Methodist Church of Klecknersville.
Pauline will be dearly missed by her devoted children, Rachel R. Fella and her companion, David Haninchick, of Moore Township, and Reverend Matthew L. Heckman and wife, Laura, of Lynchburg, Virginia; her grandchildren who were the love of her life, Robert R. Fella, III and wife, Sierra, of Pen Argyl, Ryan R. Fella of Northampton, Rebecca R. Fella of Northampton, and Russell R. Fella of Bath ; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Leon, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Stout.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Covenant United Methodist Church of Klecknersville, 2715 Mountain View Drive, Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., in the Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
Memorial contributions may be offered to Covenant United Methodist Church of Klecknersville.
