With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Edward Panfil, a beloved father, grandfather, and devoted friend, who left us on November 8, 2025, at the age of 70.
He was born on October 16, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. Paul was the son of the late Edward and Anna Panfil.
Paul grew up in Port Richmond, Pennsylvania. He was well known in that area and worked with his father, Ed at their family business, All Valves. After his father's passing, he began working for A&B Stainless Valve. Paul's father was lovingly known as E.P. by the A&B family. E.P. passed on the care of his son, who then became P.P. to his dearest friends at A&B. Paul forever carried on his father's legacy there. Paul was extremely passionate about valves, right up until his passing, he was still involved in buying and selling them. He loved the "shop" at A&B and adored the "guys", who became family, whom he worked with in Nazareth, PA for 28 years. You could routinely find him there any day of the week, it was his second home. He served A&B Stainless until May of 2021 after he underwent a bilateral leg amputation. He then resided at Northampton Post Acute where he was the "life of the party"! Paul was extremely well cared for by the nurses, aides, and transport team who became his very dear friends.
Paul was an avid wrestling and sports fan his entire life. He traveled the country to attend multiple wrestling and sporting events. Along his many travels he often sought out the best food "joints" he could find. Among his favorites were Chinese food, hotdogs, and cheesesteaks. He spent many hours in his pick-up, and learned the interstates and highways like the back of his hand. If you were lost in any state, you could call him for directions, and he would be able to guide you home.
His favorite pastime was spending Sundays with his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter at their home, and then having them visit him when he was no longer able to travel. He loved watching football, basketball, and baseball games with them whether on television or attending them live. He prided himself on getting the best "seats in the house." He loved spending time with good friends, reminiscing and sharing memories together. For years, he watched Pay-Per-Views with his friends and family and then with the help of his good friend Frank, he was able to watch them on his phone. Paul was such a happy guy, and his smile was infectious! He had a way about him that captivated everyone he interacted with. Despite his 7 year battle with end stage renal disease he was always smiling. Paul's only requirement was having his phone close to him and charged. He loved scouring eBay and he loved to hear from his friends and family who called him daily. The apple of Paul's eye was his one and only granddaughter. His smile shined the brightest whenever she was around.
Paul is survived by his cherished daughter, Celeste Vignets, and her husband Nicholas of Wrightstown, NJ; only granddaughter Julianna Vignets; brother Rick Berg and his wife Lin of Glen Gardner, NJ.
Services and interment for Paul will take place privately at the request of the immediate family. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. - Moorestown/Bath.
In this time of deep sadness, let us come together to share stories, laughter, and tears just as Paul would have wanted. May we find comfort in each other and the cherished memories we hold of him- a true family man who will be greatly missed, but never forgotten
