Michael Valosin

Michael J. Valosin, Sr., 78, of Bushkill Township, formerly of Carteret, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at home. He was the loving husband of Donna L. (Eidson) Valosin. The couple recently observed their 58th wedding anniversary on June 23rd.

Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Michael was a son of the late John and Helen (Zimmermann) Valosin. He was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, class of 1965, as well as Middlesex County Vocational Technical School in 1977. A professional welder and pipefitter by trade, Mike retired from PSEG (Public Service Electric & Gas) and was previously employed at FMC Corporation, where he had a successful career as a pipefitter and welder that spanned more than 30 years. His talents were not limited to plumbing and welding; Mike was a skillful wood craftsman and carpenter who was always eager to take on a new project. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, reading about history, and cooking dishes from his heritage for the holidays. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. One of his many life accomplishments was in the sport of traditional archery where Mike was honored as the New Jersey State Champion.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Donna, he will be dearly missed by his three sons, Michael J. Valosin, Jr. and wife, Carol, of Kendall Park, New Jersey, Todd Valosin, Sr. and wife, Donna Marie, of Bushkill Township, and Christopher Valosin at home; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Jayde, Todd Jr., Kaylee, Paul, Michael III, and Mikala; a brother, Barry Valosin of Florida; and a sister, Valerie.

He is also survived by his best friend since high school, William Royle of Petersburg, New Jersey, whose friendship he treasured for more than six decades.

Michael was predeceased by a brother, John Valosin.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in theGEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
