Merlin Earl Yetter, of Lower Mt. Bethel Twp., peacefully passed away at his farm surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1938 and was the son to the late Clark W. and Lottie C. (Good) Yetter.
Merlin and his wife, Nancy A. (Kocher) Yetter met in 1968 and were married two years later spending 55 wonderful years side by side.
His passion was working on his dairy farm, where he enjoyed taking his family on hay rides and showing them his beef animals. Merlin also loved riding his 4-wheelers around the farm. He also enjoyed hunting and riding horses where he was a member of the Plainfield Riding Club and would carry the American Flag in the annual parade. Additionally, Merlin loved gardening and canning his fruits and vegetables
He loved being with his friends and family, hosting many picnics on the farm, dancing, and playing games with all who were in his company.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Nancy, Merlin was survived by his children, Mark L. Yetter and his wife Melody; grandchildren, Coralee Hoagland and her husband Larry, Joshua Yetter and his wife Krista; great-grandchildren, Hayley Hoagland and Colton Yetter; sister, Lovella Wall. He was predeceased by his sisters, Letha Yetter, Evelyn Yetter and Doris Kahler.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing to celebrate Merlin's life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 9:00am until his funeral services at 10:00am at the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery - Moorestown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Merlin's name can be made to St. John's Trinity UCC, 632 N Delaware Dr, Mt Bethel, PA 18343 or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
