Each cake was a unique creation, thoughtfully designed and decorated with remarkable attention to detail.
Mary Ellen Wetzel, 88, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2026 at son's residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wetzel who passed in 2013. Born in Bath, Mary was a daughter of the late Ella Schall (Lilly).
She was a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church and proudly owned and operated her own beauty salon, retiring in 1992. A talented and creative woman, she enjoyed baking, ceramics, painting, crocheting, and gardening. Her artistic abilities and love of baking were especially evident in the beautiful custom cakes she lovingly created for her grandchildren. Each cake was a unique creation, thoughtfully designed and decorated with remarkable attention to detail, making birthdays and special occasions even more memorable. She also enjoyed visiting yard sales, especially the time spent yard saling with her sisters.
She will be remembered by her sons: John E. (Tina) of Moore Twp. and Robert J. (Toni) of Medford, NJ; grandchildren: Joseph, Rose, Ashley, Joshua, Jessica and Joy; sisters: Sandra Fox (Bruce) of Moore Twp. and Linda Wuchter (Galen) of Moore Twp.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026 in the Emmanuel's Lutheran Church - 3175 Valley View Dr, Bath, PA 18014.
