It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret E. Gutekunst, of East Allen Twp., who passed away peacefully, on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Sacred Heart Senior Living - Northampton.

Margaret had a fulfilling career with Air Products, where she worked tirelessly until her retirement in 2004 and continued part-time until 2020. Her work ethic was only rivaled by her passion for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Margaret never missed a sporting event, whether it was hockey, gymnastics, or softball. Her unwavering support and presence brought warmth and encouragement to their lives. Her spirit and dedication to her family set her apart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
An avid traveler, Margaret cherished her adventures in Europe and Aruba, and she loved spending time at the beach, particularly walking to the lighthouse in Cape May. She embraced each moment with joy, infusing her travels with the same zest for life that she offered her family.
Margaret is survived by her children, Carol Lenzi and her husband, Joseph, of Northampton; Jack Gutekunst, Jr. and his wife, Gail Cantwell, of Mississauga, Ont., Canada; and Mark Gutekunst and his wife, Marie-Claude, of Northampton; grandchildren, Shannon Scarlett (Kenneth), Anthony Hock, Gabrielle Rahn (Zachary), Nicholas Gutekunst (fiancée, Alexis Lyons), and Stefan Gutekunst; great-grandchildren, Alexia Koster (Ethan), Hailey Scarlett (fiancé Joe Lennon), Olivia Pasko, and Mason Rahn; and great-great-grandson, Carter Koster.
