Linda Sue Reese, 71, of Palmerton, PA, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was the beloved wife of the late Timothy Reese to whom she was married to for 48 years before his passing in 2022. Born in East Stroudsburg, Linda was a daughter of the late Matthew Conklin and Lillie Hopper (Bruch)

With a career that spanned several years in customer service, Linda was most recently employed at Dick Milham - Hecktown/Easton, where she delivered exceptional service with a genuine caring touch. Throughout her life, Linda was not just a dedicated mother, but also a talented individual with a flair for the arts. As an amazing seamstress, she transformed fabric into beautiful creations that brought joy to many. She embraced the world of acting, participating in several plays and even gracing the silver screen with a short role as Elsie in the movie "Fading." Her passion for performing showcased her vibrant spirit and the joy she found in expressing herself.

Linda was an active member of Our Father's House in Catasauqua, where she found a community that enriched her life and those around her. Linda dedicated her life to her family and her passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity. Her kindness and compassion resonated with all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind many dear friends and countless others whose lives she touched. Linda had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and could make a friend wherever she went.

Linda will be dearly missed by children: Timothy Reese, Jr. (Jennifer) of East Bangor, Kristi Ponnett (Keith) of Bath, Julianna Reese (Arthur Gevert, Jr.) of Hanover, PA , Abigail Reese of Palmerton, and Melissa Nixon (Barry) of Lansford, PA and Dawn Nycz of Palmerton; grandchildren: Veronica, Isaac (Emily), Fiona (Tristan), Theresa, Sarah, Naveya, Grace, Hanna, Savannah and Kara and great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Isobella, Ilyana, Delilah and Ianandra; sisters: Bonnie Mertz of Nazareth, Maryellen Pittenger of Easton and Robin Conklin of Easton; sister in law: Karen Strunk (Wayne) of Wind Gap; many nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by a brother: William Conklin.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to a public viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. and Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will follow (Friday) at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to help with final expenses through the crowdfunding option provided within the funeral home website obituary.
