Linda Oswald

August 9, 1944 — October 13, 2024

Linda F. Oswald, 80, of Wind Gap, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Country Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center in Bethlehem Twp. Born in Hamburg, PA Linda was a daughter of the late Calvin and Verna Rausch (Bowers). She is a 1962 graduate of Hamburg H.S. and attended Northampton Community College.

Linda worked as a dispatcher for Lehigh Valley Block/Old Castle in Weaversville, retiring in 2010. Prior to that, she worked in the accounting dept for the former Wilson Formica in Mt. Bethel. She also worked in the shipping and receiving department of SHR, Forks Twp. & as a napper Blue Ridge Winkler Textiles in Bangor.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Linda was a cherished member of various organizations, including St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plainfield Twp., I.L.G.W. Union, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Shoemakersville Volunteer Fire Company. She found joy in participating in league bowling, exploring the trails at Jacobsburg State Park, and tending to her plants and garden. Linda's warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Nathan Oswald (Maryann) of Bushkill Twp. and Gregory Oswald of Pen Argyl; grandchildren: Erika, Sean, Jessica, Katie, Rachael, Ryan and Ricky; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Lilah, Mikayla, Audrey, Carter and Sophia; brothers: Calvin G. Rausch (Faye) of Shoemakersville and Larry C. Rausch (Sandra) of Hamburg, Carol Ann Dietrich of Blandon, nieces & nephews. Linda is predeceased by a granddaughter: Courtney Zotynia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church - 1422 Church Road - Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
