Linda M. (Tashner) Frederick, 73, peacefully passed away at her home in Palmer Township on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael R. Frederick to whom she was married 27 years before his passing in 2000.

Born in Fountain Hill, Linda was a daughter of the late Stephen and Ruth D. (Charron) Tashner. She was a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1970. Linda worked as a secretary for the late Dr. William K. Harlan, Jr., an oncologist who had a successful practice in Easton for many years. Following his retirement, she served as his devoted caretaker until his passing in 2001. Linda was also previously employed at Keystone Foods in Lower Nazareth Township where she was a receptionist and secretary. Lastly, she was a transcription secretary for orthopedic surgeon Dr. John J. Ialeggio of Easton until her retirement.

She was content to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, her pets whom she so loved, playing cards with family and friends, and going to dinner theater performances.

Survivors: Linda will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son, Christopher M. "Fred" Frederick and his partner, Lin, of Palmer Township; a sister, Rebecca Smith and her husband, Scott, of Stroudsburg; two brothers, Leslie V. Tashner and wife, Stephanie, and Steven M. Tashner and wife, Gail, both of Bushkill Township; along with a niece and many nephews.

In addition to her husband, Michael, she was predeceased by a sister, Sandra R. Mitman.
