Lester L. Werner, 64, of Bath, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus, after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Cindy-Lou B. (Bealer) Werner. The couple would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this February.
Born in Allentown, Lester was a son of the late Clinton C. and Violet J. (Brearman) Werner. A passion for trains, he was a life-long toy train enthusiast and collector as well as a member of the Train Collectors Association. Lester was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to his wife, Cindy-Lou, he is survived by two daughters, Kristy-Lee Reiman and husband, Dane, of Hellertown, and Leslie Syfor and husband, Robert, of Mahanoy City; seven grandchildren, Destinee, Cheyenne, Dylan, Brielle, Paige, Dane, and Everly; a brother, Richard Werner and wife, Joanie, of Lehighton; two sisters, Isabelle Nagy of Lehighton, and Sandra Ahart of Easton; many nieces and nephews.
Lester was predeceased by two sisters, Linda Lambert and Geraldine Bartholomew.
Services: Services to be announced later. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
