Leonard D. Beltz, Sr., 82, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 6, 2026 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Virginia Calabrese - Beltz to whom he was married to for 28 years. Born in Moore Township, Leonard was a son of the late Harvey and Edith Beltz (Yocum).
He was employed for many years at Dixie Cup in Easton. A devoted member of Valleyview Baptist Church, his faith guided him throughout his life and remained a steady source of strength. He found his greatest peace outdoors, particularly while fishing and hunting in Canada-experiences he treasured deeply. A true craftsman at heart, he enjoyed woodworking and took special pride in hand-carving wooden spoons and bowls, many of which he lovingly gifted to others. In his earlier years, he also found joy in gardening, tending the soil with the same patience, care, and thoughtfulness that he showed in all aspects of his life.
In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tammy Sobers (Dennis) of Glen Rock, PA, Tracy Fehnel, of Whitehall, Leonard Beltz, Jr. (Sheila) of Moore Twp., Trudy Unangst (Roger) of East Allen Twp., Tina Hershberger (Robert) of Warminster, Robert Wilhelm (Lori) of Bath; grandchildren: Alicia, Cassandra, Zachary, Aaron, Jacob, Jason, Kody, Tori, Josiah, Evan, Ashly, Holly and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Blake, Beau, Logan, Wyatt, Melody, J.J., Joanna, Sadie, Emma, Nicholas and Jaxson. Leonard is predeceased by brothers: Harvey Beltz Jr., Kermit Beltz, Earl Beltz, and Bruce Beltz and a sister: Cleora Beltz; grandson: Jason Beltz.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in the Valleyview Baptist Church - 2870 Pheasant Dr, Northampton, PA 18067. Friends and Relatives are invited to his viewing from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery - Moorestown. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. Moorestown/Bath.
