It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry M. Dieter, aged 61, who left this world peacefully on February 14, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. He shared 29 incredible years with his wife Lori A. (Van Horn) Dieter.

Born on August 10, 1964, Kerry grew up in Belfast, PA, and completed his education in the Pen Argyl Area School District, graduating with the Class of 1982. Growing up, Kerry was deeply involved in his church community at St. Luke's UCC, in Belfast. He regularly attended Sunday school, participated in youth activities and especially enjoyed lifting his voice in song as a member of the church choir. Kerry had a heart bigger than the world. He generously gave his time for many years as a volunteer with the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, always ready to lend a hand when his community needed him. An outdoorsman at heart, Kerry found great joy in hunting and fishing, and he treasured the countless memories made with family and friends at their beloved cabin, Wells Camp, in Pike County, PA.

A devoted sports fan, Kerry loved cheering on Philly sports teams and attending car races whenever he had the opportunity. Above all, his children were the pride and joy of his life. He made it a priority to spend time with them, creating lasting memories and sharing in life's everyday moments. In his quieter hours, Kerry could often be found outside on his property with his beloved dogs throughout the years, content with the simple pleasures of home and nature. Whether it was getting into harmless mischief with his twin brother in their younger days or singing and dancing to his favorite classic country tunes in more recent years, Kerry never missed a chance to make someone laugh, and always brought warmth, light, and humor to those around him

Along with his wife Lori, Kerry is survived by his children-daughter Morgan Baltz and her husband Kolbey of Bath, and son Johnathan Dieter of Saylorsburg; parents, Franklin and Barbara (Michael) Dieter; siblings, Debbie Dieter of Buskill Township, Terry Dieter and his wife Kim of Saylorsburg, and Kyle Dieter and his wife Jen of Wind Gap. Kerry was expecting his first grandchild, Zoey Lynn, (Morgan and Kolbey, parents) to be born in March. He also leaves behind innumerous dear friends and loving family members, who will miss him deeply.

Kerry spent nearly 40 years working as a craftsman at CF Martin Co. in Nazareth, where he was known for his meticulous work and steadfast dedication. He found joy in creating and inspiring those around him with his skillful hands and kind spirit.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kerry's life at the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. for a public visitation that will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
