Karen Stahl

Karen Kuhlman Stahl, 74, of Bushkill Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her son's residence. She was the beloved wife of the late William Stahl to whom she was married to for 47 years before his passing in 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY., Karen was a daughter of the late Harry M. and Bertha Kuhlman (Kresch).

Karen received her BA from York College of CUNY in elementary education. She was a strong, quiet woman with a sharp wit and a compassionate heart. Her love of reading, crossword puzzles, and writing demonstrated her intelligence, while her passion for cooking, baking, and vegetable gardening reflected her desire to nurture. Karen found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often reminiscing about the charm of old-time TV shows that brought her comfort.

Karen's family was her greatest treasure. She will be dearly missed by her sons: Harry Stahl (Tonya) of Bushkill Township; Brian Stahl (Patricia) of Bushkill Township; grandchildren: Michael, Nicholas, and Anthony McGaughran & Brian Jr. (Lilly) and Mark; great-grandson: Noah; sisters: Beth Kuhlman (Jeff) Glendale, NY; Gail Kuhlman of Charleston, SC.
