She lovingly cared for her daughter, Lynn, throughout her life, a reflection of the patience, dedication, and unconditional love she gave so freely as a mother.
Judith J. Fehnel, 83, formerly of Tatamy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Saucon Valley Manor - Hellertown. She was the beloved wife of the late Delbert R. Fehnel to whom she was married to for 59 years before his passing in 2021. Born in Fountain Hill, Judith was a daughter of the late Francis and Virginia Daniels (Millheim).
Along with her husband, Judith owned and operated the Tatamy Hotel until 1999. She also owned and operated Judith J. Fehnel Tax Preparation from her home, assisting clients for many years.
Judith was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Tatamy. Reading was one of her greatest passions, and she was estimated to have read between 30,000 and 40,000 books throughout her lifetime. She also enjoyed crocheting and treasured going for long drives with her husband and family. These weekly sightseeing trips became a cherished family tradition and a special way for them to spend time together.
Above all, Judith was devoted to her family. She lovingly cared for her daughter, Lynn, throughout her life, a reflection of the patience, dedication, and unconditional love she gave so freely as a mother.
She will be missed by her twin granddaughters: Abbey Hower (Andrew) of Allen Twp. and Alicia Rodenbough of Nazareth; great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Addison and Alden; sister: Regina Caesar (Kenny) of Wind Gap brother: Francis "Buddy" Hildenbrandt of Catasauqua; daughter-in-law: Sandra Fehnel of Bethlehem; nieces & nephews. Judy is predeceased by her daughter: Lynn A. Fehnel, in 2020; son: Brett A. Fehnel, in 2016.
As per Judith's wishes, No formal services will be held. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - Moorestown/Bath.
