Joshua S. Reitnauer, 47, of Washington DC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2026, at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, Joshua was a step-son to Gary Moyer and his wife Debbie of Nazareth & step-son to Josie Reitnauer of Millsboro, DE. He was a biological son of the late Donald Reitnauer and Roxane Reitnauer Moyer (Keller).
He graduated from Nazareth Area High School (PA) and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from William & Mary and his Master's Degree from Webster University. Joshua worked as a project manager for Publicis Sapient.
Throughout his life, Joshua had many passions that brought him joy and fulfillment. An Eagle Scout of Nazareth Troop 78, he carried the values of leadership, service, and dedication with him in all that he did. He traveled all over the world, soaking in diverse cultures and experiences, always with a sense of wonder and adventure. His love of model trains was not just a hobby; it was a testament to his meticulous nature and creativity. In addition, Joshua had a profound appreciation for music, frequently attending concerts and music festivals that allowed him to connect with others and celebrate the universal language of rhythm.
In addition to his step-parents, he will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Christopher Moyer of Allentown, PA and Shawn Moyer and his partner Orlando Torres of Lancaster, PA; step-sister: Laura Kline and her partner Dustin Wrighter of Winsdor, NY and step-brother: Shawn MacQuirk and his wife Zoe of Gilbert, PA. along with the great community and friends he cultivated in Washington, DC.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a visitation with family from 9 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery - Moorestown.
