John M. Stavrovsky, 75, of Moore Twp., passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the beloved husband of the late Sharon Stavrovsky (Moffitt) who died on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Born in Fountain Hill, John was a son of the late John and Olga Stavrovsky (Volent).
He was a hardworking and dependable man who spent much of his life as a welder and fabricator, taking pride in the work of his hands. He also spent years on the road as a tractor-trailer driver, earning the respect of those who knew him for his strong work ethic and straightforward nature. Well known around the local scrap yards-especially JFR-he was a familiar face and a friend to many.
He was a member of the Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of good company. At home, he found simple pleasures in life, including making his homemade salsa, something he took pride in sharing with family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his children: Beverly Watt (Matthew) of Easton, Barry Davis (Nodjya) of Bethlehem; John Stavrovsky (Tanya Jo) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren: Alora, Justin, Blake, Ashlynn, Thomas, Braden, Alex and Dalton; one great-granddaughter; brother: Ernest Stavrovsky (Nicolette) of Steel City. John is predeaceased by a son: Thomas Stavrovsky and a brother Stephen Stavrovsky.
A joint Celebration of Life service honoring both him and his wife will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, Bath, PA 18014.
