John Sandt

John Stanley Sandt, Jr., 63, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. He was born on June 13, 1961, in Phillipsburg, NJ, and was the son of the late John S. Sandt, Sr. and Elizabeth Kostolanci-Sandt.

John was a man who found purpose and fulfillment through his work and personal passions. He dedicated much of his life to the construction industry, where he excelled in all aspects of the trade. From framing to finishing, John took great pride in his craftsmanship and was known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail.

He lived life on his own terms and found meaning through the work he did and the independence he valued. He loved to hunt and watch NASCAR, passions that brought him both excitement and peace. He'll be remembered as a hard worker who was always true to himself.

He is survived by his children, John S. Sandt III and his wife Jessica of Bangor, and Amber Altemose and her husband Ryan of Saylorsburg; his grandchildren, Landon and Ella. John is also survived by his siblings Joseph Kostolanci and his wife Carol, Richard Sandt and his wife Kathleen, and Jimmy Sandt and his wife Elaine; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
