Jacalyn J. Werkheiser, 79, formerly of Bath, passed away on on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill Annex. Born in Lawrence, MA, Jacalyn was a daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret Werkheiser (MacCord).

She spent many years in hospitality, serving as Front Desk Manager at the Comfort Suites in Bethlehem before retiring from the Days Inn in Easton. Known for her warmth, organization, and welcoming presence, she made every guest feel right at home.

Creative by nature, she loved working with her hands and found joy in quilting, ceramics, and all things crafty. She had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life - going out for rides, taking car vacations, and returning to Massachusetts to visit the places that always felt like home. Road trips throughout New England were among her favorite adventures.

Above all, she was a people person. She loved talking on the phone, staying connected with friends, and sharing laughter over dinners and social gatherings. Summer evenings often found her on the front porch, enjoying conversation, company, and the community she cherished so deeply.

She will be dearly missed by her sisters: Diane Werkheiser of Bath, and Donna Fry (John) of East Allen Township; niece: Erica Hudak (Chris) of Lower Nazareth Township; nephew: Chad Fry (Mara Wolfe) of Allentown; great niece: Brooke Hudak and great nephew: Colton Hudak; feline companion: Dorey. Jacalyn was predeceased by a brother: Daniel Werkheiser.

Graveside Services will be held privately in springtime at Hope Cemetery - Hecktown. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. Moorestown/Bath.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to The Center For Animal Health & Welfare - 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042. https://www.healthyanimalcenter.org/
