Helen S.G. Walsh Heckman, 90, of Lower Nazareth Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late William Walsh (1986) and Robert Heckman, Sr. (2007) Born in East Lawn, Helen was a daughter of the late Lester Frack and Mae Buelah Yob.
She was employed at the former 5&10 Store in Nazareth, where she enjoyed serving members of her community.
She loved traveling with her husband, especially their trips to Dresden, Ohio, where she visited the Longaberger Basket Company. An avid collector, she took great pride in her cherished Longaberger basket collection.
She found joy in crocheting and lovingly created many blankets and decorative kitchen towels, including her signature oven-door towels with buttoned tops. She also enjoyed walking, dancing, and baking for family and friends. She was amember of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hecktown, where she attended services and was an active participant in the adult Sunday School class, always eager to learn and grow in her faith.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter: Sheri Tretter (Dean) of Lehighton; step-son: Robert C. "Buddy" Heckman, Jr. of Lower Nazareth Twp.; step-daughters: Robin L. Manini (Scott) of Bethlehem Twp., and Sherri L. Sauka (Gary) of Bushkill Twp.; grandchildren: Christopher, Danielle, Warren "Rusty" and Jolynn; great- grandchildren: Rease, Kaylla, Avery, Dublyn, Donovan, Dreysen, Declan, Denton, Benjamin; siblings: Dorothy Yost (Frank) of Anderson, SC, Erna Bucci of Lewes, DE, Charles Frack (Janice) of Wind Gap and George Frack (Doris) of Nazareth. She was predeceased by a daughter: Deborah Walsh; grandson: William Bender; siblings: Ernie Frack, Lester Frack, Howard Frack and Henry Frack.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a visitation from 9 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Belfast Union Cemetery.
