Grace J. Werner, of Plainfield Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at her home. She was 80 years old. Grace was the wife of the late Jim Werner for 53 years before his passing in 2013.
Born on January 15, 1946, in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late William Rasley and Betty (Friend) Anstead.
A dedicated homemaker, Grace found boundless joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was known for her incredible baking and cooking skills, often filling her home with the delightful aromas of her homemade meals and delectable treats. Family meant everything to Grace, and her happiest moments were spent in the company of her loved ones, including her cherished daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The love for her daughter's dog, a spirited mix named Molly Mae, brought her additional joy and companionship during her later years.
In her younger days, Grace found delight in the thrill of bingo nights and frequently visited the casino, where she showed unwavering loyalty to her one favorite slot machine. Her laughter and enthusiasm were infectious, creating memorable moments that will forever resonate with her family and friends.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Betty Stocker and her companion Dean Ealey of Belfast; grandchildren, Timothy, Frank, Karisha and Jonathan; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Beichy and her husband Luke of Wellsboro, Linda Ames of Northampton, David Rasley and his wife Sandy of Easton, William Rasley and his wife Betsy of Easton, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her son James Lee Werner.
Services for Grace will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Covenant United Methodist Cemetery, in Point Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy are invited to make a memorial contribution toward final expenses through the crowdfunding option available on the funeral home's website obituary.
