George A. Moyer, 93, of Lehigh Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Jetta Lee (King) Moyer to whom he was married to for 71 years before her passing in 2024. Born in Kresgeville, George was a son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Dorward) Moyer.

For nearly 50 years, he worked as a car salesman with the former Hauser Chevrolet and Dick Milham Chevrolet in Bethlehem. In addition, he owned and operated his own used car lot in Cherryville, PA.

He was a long time member of Bethany Wesleyan Church in Cherryville. He was involved as a board member, Sunday School Superintendent, and spearheaded an extensive building addition in the mid 1970's. George also traveled globally on many mission trips sponsored by the church.

He served honorably during the Korean War. He graduated from Tobyhanna Township High School in 1949. In 1953 he completed a course of study at Allentown Bible Institute, which would later become United Wesleyan College. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and had a lifelong passion for collecting things - especially model cars.

He will be remembered by his children: David Moyer (Christine) of Coopersburg, Lynnette Derck (Blaine) of Colorado Springs, CO and Gail Klock (Brian) of Walnutport; sister Diane Sparrow (William) of Bangor; grandchildren: Joshua Derck and wife Sarah, Tiffany Innes and husband Elliott, Lucas Moyer, and Zoe Moyer; great-grandchildren: Joseph, Miriam, Micaiah, Shaylee, Nora, and Lanae; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by siblings: Ernest Moyer, Lucy Sharshon and Lillian Leuthy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online expressions of sympathy may
