Freda Helen Lieberman, 102, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Gracedale Nursing Home - Upper Nazareth Twp. A centenarian blessed with a long and well-lived life, she was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Lieberman, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2004. Born in Easton, Freda was a daughter of the late Andora Young (Ehrie).

A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she devoted much of her long life to her family and home as a homemaker. Her faith was an important part of her life. She was a longtime member of Arndt's Lutheran Church, where she was also involved with the Sunday School.

She came from a generation that took great pride in making things by hand and preserving the harvest from season to season. She was skilled at crocheting, knitting, quilting, and virtually any kind of needlework, creating countless pieces throughout the years with patience and care. Her kitchen was equally busy, particularly during canning season. Tomatoes, pickles, and whatever else was available were carefully preserved, as she seemed to have a way of canning just about everything.

Throughout her remarkable 102 years, she witnessed a world of tremendous change while remaining rooted in the things that mattered most to her-family, faith, home, hard work, and the traditions of her generation.

Freda will be missed by her son: Barry Lieberman of Bangor; 4 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Viewing and Visitation with family will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014.
