Fred Hitt

Fred H. Hitt, 71, of Nazareth, PA, passed away June 18, 2025, at LV Hospice House of the Poconos after choosing to end his fight against multiple organ failures. Born February 23, 1954 of Josephine Marie (Scerbo) and Donald Lee Hitt.

Fred was born and raised in Easton, PA, and attended all of his schooling there. Fred followed in the footsteps of his father and carved out a successful career as an accomplished electrician. His dedication to his craft was evident in every project he undertook.

Beyond his professional life. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was casting a line while fishing or enjoying a round of golf with friends. A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted fan of the New York Jets, sharing in both the triumphs and heartaches of his team through the years

Fred is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Hitt) Bealer, her husband Peter of Bath, PA and their three children. Fred is predeceased by his parents, his sister, Donna (Hitt) Grube and his wife Athena Hitt.
