Her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her students left an enduring impact on generations of children and fellow educators.

Evelyn C. Orogo, 78, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully, on Tuesday August 11, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenburg leaving behind a life devoted to faith, education, and service to others.

Born on October 26, 1947, in Baguio City, Philippines, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Ricardo and Cristina (Cruz) Orogo. She pursued her calling through higher education, earning a Master's Degree in Theology from St. Thomas Aquinas Pontifical University in the Philippines.

A woman of profound faith, Evelyn dedicated much of her life to religious vocation and Catholic education. She faithfully served as a nun at Immaculate Conception School in Pen Argyl and devoted countless years to shaping young minds as both a teacher and principal. Her educational ministry included service at Holy Rosary Academy in Manaoag, Pangasinan, Philippines, and St. Benedict's Academy in Guinobatan, Albay, Philippines. Her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her students left an enduring impact on generations of children and fellow educators.

Evelyn remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Bath and belonged to the Fraternities of St. Dominic, living out the Dominican charism through prayer, study, community, and service.

She is lovingly survived by her brother, Ricardo Orogo, Jr., of Baguio City; her sisters, Bernadette Orogo Akanuma (Yoshiaki) of London, England, Carlota Orogo Berisford of Baguio City, Emelie Orogo Wada (Kenjie) of Nagano, Japan, Yolanda Orogo Lam of Baguio City, and Maria Christina Orogo Wenn (Matt) of London, England. She is also survived by the late Sandra Tucker daughters, Kelly and Leslie Tucker of Pen Argyl; Sandra's brother, James Ceraul and his wife, Mary; and their children, Janice, Toni, and Peter.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Marlene Orogo Douglas, William Orogo, and Abraham Orogo, as well as Sandra's sister, Julie Ceraul; dear friend: Sandra Tucker

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 210 E. Northampton Street, Bath. Family and Friends are invited to a calling hour on Thursday at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Interment at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Pen Argyl will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - Moorestown-Bath.
