Elaine Dolores Silfies, 71, of Upper Mount Bethel Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Northampton Post Acute - Easton. She was the companion of Gerald Schlegel of Nazareth and beloved wife of the late William Silfies to whom she was together with for 15 years before his passing in 2002. Born in Allentown, Elaine was a daughter of the late George Remaly and Mildred Carl (Biehn).
Elaine was a dedicated and hardworking professional, spent much of her career in retail, serving as an assistant manager at K-Mart, front end sales assistant for Weis Markets in Easton, as well as a senior charge back associate at IQor.
She had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved exploring farmers' markets, indulging in craft shows, and listening to live country music. Her enthusiasm for bingo nights was unmatched, and she adored all animals, treating her pets as her cherished children. A lifelong Seattle Seahawks fan, Elaine wore her team colors with pride, bringing spirit and laughter to every gathering.
Her warmth and kindness extended beyond her family, as she was always there to celebrate the accomplishments of those she loved, offering support and companionship with unwavering loyalty. Elaine's huge heart made her a trusted friend and confidante to many.
In addition to her companion, She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Cindy Breiner (Henry) of Jamestown, TN; grandchildren: Joseph, Sara, Alyssa and Emily; brother: Richard Remaly of Slatington; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will take place privately at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery - Allentown.
