Donna Schreck

Donna K. Schreck, 73, of Bangor, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Elwood Schreck to whom she was married for 38 years before his passing in 2015. Born in Fountain Hill, Donna was a daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Parsons (Bonney).

Donna was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plainfield. Donna was employed as a sewing machine operator at various textile mills. An active participant at the Slatebelt Senior Center, she cherished her time there, engaging in spirited games of Bingo and cards with her friends. A loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan, she also enjoyed country music. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her family and kept in close touch with loved ones, nurturing those relationships with love and care.

She will be missed by her brother: Thomas Parsons (Gisela) of Havre De Grace, MD; many cousins including Eileen Gold of Easton and grand nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plainfield, 1422 Church Road, Pen Argyl, PA 18072. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the church. Interment will follow at Saint Johns Cemetery - Bangor.
