Donna Marie Liberto, 62, of Lansford was taken by the arms of GOD on January 8, 2026 at St.Luke's Hospital-Allentown Campus. She was surrounded by her loving family as she starts her journey home to our Lord. She was the beloved wife of Albert Liberto. Born in Wind Gap, Donna was a daughter of the late Floyd and Bernetta Romig (Belles). She was a woman whose life was defined by faith, family, and quiet strength. A lifelong hard worker, she devoted herself to caring for those she loved, always putting her family first. Her deep love for God and firm belief in eternal life guided her every step and gave her peace and purpose throughout her life.

She attended Pen Argyl High School and went on to build a life rooted in service to others. She obtained her EMT certification, a reflection of her natural calling to help. Whether caring for family, friends, or complete strangers, she gave of herself freely and compassionately, helping everyone she met in the best way she knew how. She also worked as a molder at Owens Brockway Plastics, where her strong work ethic and dedication were evident to all who knew her.

Outside of work, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved her pets deeply and cherished time spent fishing, moments that allowed her to relax and connect with the world around her.

Her love story began at a bowling league between their schools. From that first meeting, he knew his life had changed forever. "I knew then that God gave her to me as a gift to cherish, and that she would always be there for me and take care of me." That belief proved true for the rest of their lives together.

She was a devoted and loving wife and a mother in every sense of the word. For 46 years, she was the foundation of her family-the glue that held everyone together through life's joys and challenges. Through faith, perseverance, and unconditional love, she built a home grounded in God and family.

She and her husband were blessed by God with three children, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her greatest hope was that the bond she nurtured within her family would remain strong, honoring her legacy for generations to come.

These memories paint the picture of a woman whose life mattered deeply-a woman of faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion-whose presence will be profoundly missed and whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

In addition to her husband, she will be dearly missed by her children: Joseph Liberto (Suhey) of Hanover, Tina Bibber Liberto of Tannersville and Kristal Liberto (Edward) of Pottsville; grandchildren: Carlos, Tyler, Angelica, Kristian, Zach, Kayla, Dylan, Joelly, Ryan; siblings: Betty Silfies of Wind Gap, Dorothy Powell of Easton, Sylivia Johnson (Dave) of Bath and Margaret Bauer (Bart) of Lehighton and Floyd Romig, Jr. of Bangor.
