Donald A. Pysher, 67, of Nazareth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hecktown Oaks in Lower Nazareth Township. He was the loving husband of Lori L. (Stier) Pysher, with whom he shared 10 wonderful years of marriage, having celebrated their wedding anniversary on September 20th.

Born in Wilson Borough, Donald was a son of the late Lawrence E. and Anna M. (Rader) Pysher. He was a proud graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1977. Donald's remarkable career with Keystone Snacks began while he was still in high school, through a work-study program. Through his strong work ethic, dedication, and determination, he steadily advanced through the ranks, earning the respect of his colleagues and establishing a successful career that spanned nearly five decades. After almost 50 years of devoted service, Donald retired in 2024 as Maintenance Supervisor, leaving behind a lasting legacy of hard work and commitment.

Beyond his professional career, Donald found great enjoyment in the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He also had a competitive spirit and enthusiastically participated in organized dart leagues and soapbox derby racing in Nazareth, an activity he was instrumental in promoting within the community. Naturally outgoing and sociable, Donald enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships he shared as a member of numerous local clubs, including Vigilance Hose Company No. 1, East Lawn Social Club, Wind Gap American Legion, and Nazareth VFW Post 4366.

An avid Washington Redskins fan, Donald faithfully cheered on his favorite football team. However, nothing brought him greater pride or happiness than his grandchildren. A devoted and loving grandfather, he rarely missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events, always offering his enthusiastic encouragement and support from the sidelines. For Donald, these treasured moments with his grandchildren meant far more than any victory on the field.

In addition to his loving wife, Lori, Donald will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his daughter, Lauren Bambary and her husband, Patrick, of Nazareth; stepchildren, Kevin Wolf and his wife, Amy, and Monica Nikles and her husband, Eric, both of Nazareth; six cherished grandchildren, Bryce, Brie, Jayce, Cade, Braxton, and Hudson, with another grandchild eagerly awaited; brothers, Barry L. Pysher and his wife, Eileen, of Nazareth, and Bruce Pysher and his wife, Peggy, of Macungie; a sister, Sandra Betz of Bath; a brother-in-law, Richard Stier and his wife, Brenda, of Bath; along with many nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Barry K. Betz, in 2022.

Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in celebration of Donald's life and to share cherished memories during a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Interment will be held privately.
