Dolores Sue Hartman, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, with loved ones surrounding her over her final days. She was 83. Known as "Dolly" by everyone, she was the devoted wife of the late John R. Hartman, Sr., with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2005.
Born on September 18, 1942, in Danielsville, Dolly was the daughter of the late Kermit and Lena (Miller) Green.
Dolly graduated from Northampton High School and carried her spirit of strength, positivity, creativity, and caring for others throughout her life. She was a woman of many talents, working as a dedicated seamstress and pouring her heart into the homes of people for whom she cleaned-people who were far more than just clients; they were her dear friends. She was also a talented crafter who enjoyed sharing her creations with others.
Dolly was known for her sense of humor, her infectious smile, and her gift of gab, making friends wherever she went, as if she had never met a stranger. Her warm personality and belief in the power of kindness were evident in her lifelong mantra to always "say something nice" about others.
Dolly was an avid reader, a dedicated gardener, and a committed lunch partner to her many friends. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was indulging in her favorite chocolate ice cream, watching her beloved true crime TV shows, or jamming at country concerts. She cherished the companionship of her dogs-Piper, Lucy, and Kramer, and had a special love for butterflies and daisies. She was in the stands at every sporting event for her children. She was the rock of the family and the wings that helped them fly.
Dolly is survived by her four loving children, Dee Berlinghoff and husband Clayton; John Hartman Jr. and wife Lisa; Lori Rauenzahn and husband Brian; and Andrea Hartman and fiancé Lance Cook; grandchildren Rachel Imschweiler, Tyler Rauenzahn, Brianna Rauenzahn, Elizabeth Ransom (Miles), Eric Berlinghoff, Adam Berlinghoff, and Jonathan Hartman; great-grandchild Austin Imschweiler; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
To her friends and family, thank you for loving her, making her laugh, and bringing her so many happy memories.
Friends and Relatives are invited to pay their respects on Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014 and again on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 9:30am until her Funeral Service begins at 10:30am.
