Diana M. Transue, 74, of Wind Gap, formerly of Saylorsburg, passed away peacefully
while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Slate Belt
Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Washington Township. She was the beloved wife
of the late Bradley A. Transue, Sr. to whom she was marred 29 years before his
passing in 2017.
Born in Wilson Borough, Diana was a daughter of the late Clark F. Kichline, Sr. and
Eva I. (Smith) Kichline Horn. She attended Nazareth High School. Prior to her
disability, Diana was employed at the former SHR Enterprises in Forks Township. A
former member of the Wind Gap American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, Diana and her
husband passionately supported our homeless veterans, specifically Paul’s House
Valor Foundation Clinic, a cause very dear to her heart. She enjoyed country music
and could often be seen entertaining her family by dancing to the tunes of her
favorite artist, Conway Twitty. Throughout the years, Diana was known to try her
luck at the casinos, which she greatly enjoyed as well as playing card games with her
family.
