It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of David Larry Kromer, on January 25, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Kimberley A. (Schankowitz) Kromer of 29 years.
Born on December 29, 1963, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert C. Kromer, Sr. and Carol A. (Kern) Kromer.
David was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He spent his life dedicated to his family and his passion for the restaurant industry, proudly owning the Tic-Toc Family Restaurant, where he cultivated countless cherished memories and friendships within his staff and the community. His love for sports was known by many especially on Sundays cheering on the Birds.
Along with his wife, Kim, David is survived by his children, Keelea Kromer of Mechanicsburg, PA Aidan Kromer of Walnutport; and his dog Kelce, who was his faithful companion. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by siblings, Butch Kromer and his wife Susan of Slatington, Kimberly Altemose and her husband Dave of Moorestown, John Kromer and his wife Christine of Allen Twp. as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. His warmth, generosity, sense of humor and unwavering spirit impacted all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Services and interment for David will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
