David K. Anthony, 77, of Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital - Sacred Heart Campus - Allentown. Born in Nazareth, David was a son of the late Kenneth and Verna (Fogel) Anthony. He graduated from Nazareth H.S. He worked in production for C.F. Martin Guitar - Nazareth for 42 years, retiring in 2008.
David was an active member of the St. John's U.C.C - Nazareth Dart League. He found joy in playing softball and ping pong, indulging in his passion for classic cars, and passing the time with games of solitaire and rummy. His kind heart and warm spirit left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Survivors: He will be dearly missed by his children: David Anthony (Stephanie) of Wind Gap, Walter "Sonny" Anthony (Veronica) of Pen Argyl, Beulah Renner (Joseph) of Mount Pocono; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; caregiver: Paula Kocher (Gary) of Wind Gap; brother: Ronald Anthony (Linda) of Nazareth; sisters: Sharon Sutton (Harold) of Allentown; Cathy Powell of Nazareth. David was predeceased by daughter: Michelle Anthony; siblings: Kenneth, Jr., Darwin, Brenda, Bruce, Donnie and Maynard.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM in GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Bath, 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a viewing on Friday, June 14 from 6:00 to 7:30PM and Saturday from 9:30 until the time of the service all in the funeral home. Interment (Saturday) will conclude services at Zion Stone Church Cemetery - Kriedersville. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
