Daniel W. Keen, 76, of Freemansburg, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the beloved husband of Michele Keen (Palsi) to whom he would of been married to for 50 years this December. Born in Fountain Hill, Daniel was a son of the late Wallace and Miriam Keen (Kerschner).

He was employed for many years as a millwright at the former Essroc plant in Nazareth. Away from work, he enjoyed hunting in his younger years and later found great enjoyment in fishing whenever he was able. He also devoted time to coaching football when his son, Scott, was young, creating memories that remained special throughout the years. At home, he enjoyed cooking and could often be found preparing something in the kitchen. Perhaps one of his most faithful companions was his beloved dog, Dash, a Golden Retriever mix, whose companionship brought him tremendous joy.

In addition to his wife, Dan will be remembered by his children: Scott Keen (Alicia), Danielle Keen (Felix Reyes), Richard Keen and Candice Keen; grandchildren: Nick Campanella, Felicia Reyes, Adriana Reyes, Dante and Nolan Keen; brother: Bruce Keen (Judy) and sister: Janet Getz.
