His fun-loving personality and the special bond he shared with his grandchildren will always be fondly remembered.
Dale Allen Engler, 77, of Bushkill Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Julia Engler (Santini) to whom he was married to for 44 years. Born in Fountain Hill, Dale was a son of the late Nelson & Marjorie Engler (Long).
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bicycling, and tending to his yard and gardens. He had a passion for racing, especially sprint cars, and enjoyed assembling and painting model cars. He also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles daily, watching his favorite old Western television shows, and collecting coins. He looked forward to spending the winter months in Florida.
A devoted family man, he cherished time spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved to tease, torment, and playfully pick on. His fun-loving personality and the special bond he shared with his grandchildren will always be fondly remembered.
Above all, he was a man of strong faith whose greatest love was for his God, Jehovah. His faith was an important part of his life and guided the way he lived and cared for those around him.
In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by his children: Lana Engler of Easton and Joseph Engler (Sarah) of Easton; grandchildren: Evan, Ryan and Nathan; sister: Susan Ritz (Jim) of Whitehall and Glen Engler (Rosemary) of Easton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - 2372 Yost Rd, Bath, PA 18014.
