Christopher Lee Reifinger, 49, of Upper Uwchlan Township, formerly of Catasauqua, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Darcy Reifinger (Saylor) to whom he was married to for 26 years. Born in Allentown, Christopher was the son of Glenn Reifinger, of Lehighton, and Linda Schaller (Herman), and was lovingly raised alongside his stepfather, Gary Schaller, of Northampton.
He was a former member of the North Catasauqua Fire Company and a member of the Northampton County Fire School. He enjoyed working with his hands and was an avid woodworker. He had always loved LEGO, and in his later years, he returned to building and collecting sets, finding comfort and joy in each creation."
He worked as a truck driver with the former Briden Enterprises and volunteered with Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc., Post PA 75, of Macungie. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, creativity, and the good times he shared with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, He will be forever remembered by his daughter: Kaitlyn Ackroyd (Justin) of Upper Uwchlan Township; a grandchild on the way; brothers: Keith Reifinger (Sue) and Todd Reifinger (Amanda) both of Jim Thorpe; sister: Kimm Reifinger (Sean Steinmetz) of Kresgeville; canine companions: Minnie & Daisy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, with family and friends sharing memories and the good times in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a visitation from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers, The family kindly requests memorial contributions to assist with final expenses, which may be made through the crowdfunding option on the funeral home's website obituary.
