Carl S. Weist, Sr., 65, of Wind Gap, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton. He was the beloved companion of the late Wanda Eberts, to whom he shared his life with for over 35 years.
Born on May 31, 1960, in Bethlehem, Carl was the son of the late Clifton Weist, Sr. and Maud (Silfies) Weist.
Carl's life was rooted in hard work and creativity. His talents shone through in his profession as a painter in for homes and commercial buildings. He took great pride in his work and often shared these moments with his son, and occasionally, his daughter. Their time spent painting together forged a special bond that they will treasure forever.
In addition to his passion for painting, Carl had a keen interest in collecting eagle figurines, a hobby that reflected his love for nature and the freedom that eagles symbolize. This collection brought him joy, and it will serve as a reminder of his spirit and the beauty he found in the simple things.
Survivors: He will be dearly missed by his children, Carl S. Weist, Jr. and his wife Linda, of Wind Gap, Sara Baker and her husband Tyler, of Wind Gap; grandchildren, Sadie Baker, Riley Baker, Jake Weist; siblings: Dennis Weist, Clifton Weist, Jr., Elaine Yob, Mary Dieter, Alice Weist, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his siblings, Richard Weist, William Weist, Warren Weist, and David Weist.
Services: Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on December 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hope Cemetery - Hecktown, 371 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18020, offering an opportunity for those who loved Carl to share memories and honor her legacy together.
