Brent John Turse, of Walnutport, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his residence. He was a week shy of his 83rd birthday. Brent was the devoted husband to Lois E. (Watkins) Turse for 47 years.

He was born on May 9, 1943, in Pequannock, NJ, and was a son of the late John M. and Gilberta L. (Henry) Turse.

Brent enjoyed a fulfilling career in electronic manufacturing, contributing his expertise to the aircraft industry, at Honeywell, until his retirement then worked at Pocono RV. A proud Air Force veteran, he carried the values of service and commitment throughout his life.

Brent had a zest for life that was evident in his many hobbies. He found joy in fishing in Northampton County and, on many sunny days, at the Jersey Shore. His passions also included model railroading and engaging with fellow enthusiasts through his HAM radio, Call Sign: KA2NKM. He was an active member of the American Legion - Lehighton Post 314, where he formed lasting friendships and shared stories from his service years.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lois Turse, his brother-in-law Donald Watkins and his wife Barbara, and his beloved nieces and nephews: Kaitlin, Matthew, Michelle, and Kylene. His feline companions, Marco, Cody, and Buddy, will also miss his gentle presence. Brent was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Lutton.
