Brenda G. (Uhler) Roth, of Wind Gap, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was 79 years old. Brenda was the loving wife of Sherwood "Woody" Roth for 55 years
Born on November 2, 1946, in Easton, Brenda was the daughter of the late Walter Uhler and Dorothy J. Uhler-Roth and her step-father, the late Paul V. Roth.
Throughout her life, Brenda dedicated her skills and compassion to her career. She began her professional journey as a secretary for Attorney James R.D. Charron in Wind Gap before embracing her role as a homemaker, nurturing her family with unwavering love. Once her children were grown, she returned to the workforce as an inside sales representative at BRD Associates, where she was respected and appreciated for her dedication.
A devoted member of the Belfast Bible Fellowship in Nazareth, Brenda's faith was a guiding light in her life. She was passionate about giving back to her community, volunteering her time at the Blue Mountain Library in Pen Argyl and playing a significant role at the Slate Belt Heritage Center, where she helped develop various programs.
Brenda had a diverse range of interests; she cherished collecting antiques, immersing herself in high-volume reading, and expressing her creativity through sewing and traveling. Her enthusiasm for life and her ability to connect with others left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Along with her husband Woody, Brenda is survived by her children, James B. Rodney III, LTC, USA, Ret. of Suffolk VA, Gregory Roth and his wife Kate of Alexandria, VA, Rebekah E. Roth of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Josephine & Eleanor; step-sister, Eileen Dolcin and her husband John of Allentown, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service for Brenda at 11:00 AM on Thurdsay, July 16, 2026, in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive, Bath, PA with a time to call from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Belfast Union Cemetery in Nazareth. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
