Brenda Fye

Brenda L. Fye, 67, of Palmerton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospice- Inpatient Unit - Allentown. She was the beloved companion for 40 years of Michael Hutterer. Born in Bethlehem, Brenda was a daughter of the late Dale Fye, Sr. and Frances Rice (Neth).

Brenda worked as a seamstress an local textile mills. Beyond her work, she was an avid dog lover, known throughout the neighborhood for her generous spirit; her home became a sanctuary for local dogs, who would eagerly stop by for treats and affection. She enjoyed socializing and spent many joyful hours playing bingo at the Diamond Fire Company in Walnutport, where she formed lasting friendships that enriched her life.

In addition to her companion, Mike, she will be dearly missed by: brothers: Dale Fye, Jr. (Cindy) of Whitehall and David Fye of Western, PA ; step-dad: Elwood "Woody" Rice (Mae Stauffer) of Nazareth; step-sister: Bonnie Rice of Northampton; nieces and a nephew. Brenda is predeceased by a step-sister: Lisa Bell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC, 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:30 PM until time of services. Interment will be held at a later date. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
