Betty Mae Rowland, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on April 30, 1945, in Boyertown, she was the daughter of the late George and Beulah (Rhoads) Shabrach.

Betty was a devoted Jehovah's Witness. She loved yard sales and flea markets. She always had gifts and kind words for the people in her life. Betty cared for elder brothers and sisters within the community. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing and other fiber arts. She was well known for her baked goods.

Betty is survived by her devoted son, Stephen C. Rowland and his wife JoAnn of Allentown; siblings, George L. Shabrach (Judy), Jimmy R. Shabrach (Joyce), Patty A. Eshbach as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Her family and friends will forever hold her in their hearts, remembering her as a beacon of love and strength. Betty was predeceased by her siblings John Shabrach, Shirley McGinnis, and Tommy G. Shabrach.

A private cremation will be held, with plans for a memorial service to celebrate Betty's life and legacy at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.

Betty Mae Rowland will be missed dearly, but her spirit will live on in the countless memories shared with family and friends. May she rest in peace.
